This has been as low as $275, if you don't need it right away, it should come back around the same price for the fourth of July.

I'm still holding out. I'd be a buyer at $280. Need a 2nd one to power my fridge during power outages. Does 5-6hours for my fridge between charges. (French door LG)

This is an interesting use case; can you give more insight to how you use it for your fridge?

I read on another thread that someone uses the battery to power appliances and use a generator to recharge the battery for a fraction of the generator runtime.

I recently purchased a 1900w running (2500w peak) generator that I'll be using for camping trips and hope to figure out what my power-outage procedure will be.

This seems like a great deal. Wonder how efficient the inverter is. My EF Delta 1000's inverter was awful on efficiency and then broke after less than ten uses. Need to return to Sam's Club

I haven't personally done an efficiency test but a couple of channels have and its 80 ish percent which is about standard efficiency. I've had mine for over a year and have used it about 30 times in the last year and I haven't noticed a decrease in watt hours. I use it for my 12v fridge/ camping needs and charging up lipos for my rc outings.

Standard for EF, from what I understand though other brands are more like 90% efficiency. That's unfortunate, but thanks for the info! Still a great price point.

I use the River 2 Pro to run the fridge for 5-6~ hours. Then once it gets low, I run my generator (which charges it back full in a little over an hour or so). Then I can kick the generator off and run on the battery again. Otherwise you have to run the generator the entire time of the power outage. We had a outage for 3+ days here, so I would just kick the generator on every couple hours to cool down the house/room, but at night I'd just leave the fridge on battery while I sleep. To power the fridge you just plug it in like any other thing that needs power. This gives enough power/surge power to cover the compressor kicking in etc.

Start her up and drop in some fries and nugs. I'll be right over. We'll test it out together.

I did the calculations,
15 min to heat the oil , 10 min to cook leaves me with 5 % battery with battery degradation
refurb
will be lucky to cook a big batch of wings after blanching them a few times , so i may need a bigger model.
Oh wait have V2L on my ioniq 5 i am good 77KW then can head to the free electrify america to fill her up in 15 in ..

by my calculations would give me 41.06 run time hours at 1875watts

Memorial day I bought a River 2 and a Delta 2 refurb at these prices. Both took over a week to ship after they printed the labels but they were new, sealed units. I am guessing they ran out of refurbs and after a week, they sent new. I use the River 2 as a UPS for my network equipment during Monsoon. Lots of power outages. The River 2 has a 30ms or less switch time if you use inverter out. I power my network equipment using DC out and it never has to switch as it's always running off the DC. AC input keeps the battery topped off. The Delta 2 runs a fridge and chest freezer for about 8 hours. If it's sunny out, I top off the Delta 2 with a pair of Vevor 120W Solar panels. The Vevor Solar panels were a steal at $49 each from this seller just 2 weeks ago. https://www.ebay.com/itm/126328611415 . I get a solid 200W out of the pair.

A Gas gen can handle recharging if solar isn't an option.

Wow, $49 for 120W panel, a great deal, how did you find it?

Great unit from a great manufacturer. However, ecoflow refurbs seem to be hit and miss - lots of reports of them coming dirty, beat up and nonfunctional rather than actually refurbished. Seems like whoever handles their returns might just re-box and ship them back out as-is, which is fine if you happen to get one that someone just didn't want.

Does anybody have any first experience with these referb units? I'm concerned about quality and the condition of course.
