But isn't this the same as apple accessories having limited functionality on Android?

I don't understand why people using iPhone come to look at and comment on Samsung deals. It is iOS that made the restrictions to use only their devices. Better stick with Airpods when you are a Apple user.

That apart these are very good for online meetings via computer. They pair very well and noise cancelation is excellent. Recently slack huddles have been bit difficult with volume going low. Slack and Samsung should work to make it better.

I can confirm this price in Dallas metroplex as of Tuesday.

Just checked my local target and it was only 50% off, coming up to $115 pretax which isn't slick. The employee said it won't go any lower and this is the final price.

70% off to $69 is slick, but $115 is not. Guess I lucked out.

I have the pixel buds pro, are these an upgrade?
I've owned both. Samsung buds2 pro have better noise cancelation. However, mine started having weird connectivity issues after a year. Like they wouldn't want to connect to my laptop sometimes. So in that regard, the pixel buds pro connectivity is much better, and I've never had issues switching between laptop/phone.

So I prefer the pixels buds pro with my pixel 8 and laptop.

I like these earbuds. Excellent for music, good bass. There's a test fit that you can do through the app. Good battery life and uses the same app for your samsung watch.

The only thing I don't like is where you have to tap to do the volume change.
In the Galaxy Wearable app you can fiddle with all that stuff - I changed mine around so it's hold for volume (think that'd been ANC maybe).

I had both. I prefer the pixel buds pro bc of the connectivity too. It's too bad I returned it to get the Samsung pros :/

I just wanted to let you know that the issue of connectivity with Samsung Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Pro are widely known, and the culprit/reason is also known.

Connectivity issues occur when trying to pair the earbuds to iPhones, Microsoft Surface laptops, Lenovo laptops, certain TV models, and older Android phones.

The reason is that the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro use Bluetooth LE to establish a first-pairing connection, rather than the standard Bluetooth protocol. Certain devices, such as the ones listed above, will only pair over standard Bluetooth chips/protocols. Bluetooth LE uses a different protocol. iPhones, Surface, Lenovo, and other devices do not pair via Bluetooth LE. They may be able to recognize the existence of a device using Bluetooth LE, but their handshaking protocol doesn't go over LE. Therefore, even if you can see the device listed in your software settings, your device may never pair to the Buds2 or Buds2 Pro. It also depends on the firmware of the buds, as Samsung had promised that they would fix this issue and also expand the usage of BLE with updates.

If someone complains that their device cannot pair to the Buds2 or Buds2 Pro, I wouldn't blame their device. Bluetooth LE was introduced with Bluetooth 4.0, but it only recently gained widespread support from manufacturers and developers on Bluetooth 5.2 and Bluetooth 5.3.

Do you remember when Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.2 co-existed? We had hundreds of devices with issues where a customer would say, "I have Bluetooth, but this other Bluetooth device doesn't work on it!" It was because they were using a Bluetooth 2.0 or 3.0 receiver and the device they bought was a 4.2, and not everything was backwards compatible. Now, here we are, with Samsung utilizing a feature set that most other engineers don't use. History repeats itself.
I wasn't aware of this issue; an ignorance that most people share in the age of frequently updating electronics. My oldest device is a 6 year old Lenovo laptop that has no issue connecting with the Buds2 pro. I specificly picked them to pair with my S23 ultra to enjoy better codec support.

Just picked one up around 2 in Clearwater, FL. They had 4 left marked at $68.99. Great deal. Other stores in tampa had them at $115 or higher. Nice deal if you can find it, trade in value probably still higher than 70. I should have grabbed another to trade if pro 3's look good.

For my Anchorage, Alaska users, found them at Southside Target. Label says $114 (app says $195 if you try to do in store pickup) but they ring up as the $68.99 at the register. Redcard takes it down to $65.54 with no sales tax.....heck of a deal and they sound great coming from the old bean style galaxy buds live. I would guess that they had another 6-7 sets of them in the display case

Didn't even realize earbuds have an app. Guess I must not be missing out on much. I use cheap Anker ones that work great
Depending on how old and if they are soundcore brand, they might also be customizable in the anker soundcore app.

Scan this barcodes on the in store price checkers. It will tell you proce that will show at register. If you scan online or with the employee inventory checked, it will show a higher price. Price this shows on the price checkers in store is price you will pay
