I've never since bought another gerber multitool or anything else from Gerber that I wouldn't dispose of
First one I purchased was from Lowe's, $22 combo pack with the Paraframe Knife. The next time I bought the same combo pack as a backup thru Ocean State Job Lot for $35, with $30 back as a "crazy deal" gift card. So it really only cost me $5.
All the foldouts are pretty tight and hard to open until it gets broken in with use. I recommend light "Remoil" to lube and loosen it a little. The pocket clip is a plus, as I prefer it over a sheath. Decent array of useful tools, which I preferred over other combinations found in other tools in the same price range, including the non "NXT" Gerber Suspension.
Claimed warranty once, received a free replacement in about 6 weeks. A piece of the frame that supports the pliers jaw snapped (my fault, was used in a situation it wasn't intended for). No issues since.
A good normal price for this would be $27.83. A deal would be more like under $20.
