This is great for people who want a cheap background noise machine that keeps them cooler

I love mine it's not quiet but it moves a ton of air. I use it to help move the AC around the upstairs of my very old house. this is a great price

Probably the best fan at its price point. It's not quiet, but it moves a ton of air for its size. I have a few around the house and stopped noticing the noise.

No it makes a terribly loud noise on all speeds. Like it's ratting apart or something. I love fans to sleep but this keeps you up sometimes lol. I scored this a couple years back on clearance and yes it moves air but the noise isn't worth it tbh.
I know I have it lol. I've gone through like four of them. Then I finally wised up and bought a white noise machine

I bought one of these (an earlier model) in 2007 to get through college. It's lasted 17 years and is older than my kid. My brand loyalty to Honeywell for fans is through the roof. Buy this.
Interesting. I've had 4 of these and they all failed within 2 years.

Mine lasted 11 months. Warranty is 1 year but you have to pay to ship the broken unit, and include $10 to get the new (or repaired one, not sure) back.

Warranty link is on Amazon page.

I own one of these and run it in my small office I work in. It pushes a LOT of air and spins very fast. The fan is not loud, the buffeting is. On low, it's perfect for my office. High does make a lot of noise but is like gail force winds.
LMAO Bob's Burgers reference? Gayle Force Winds.

Bought 2 of these last time they were on sale at target about 2yrs ago along with 2 box fans that were also on sale.
Box fans are still rocking it while these turbo force fans died. One lasted about 1yr and other 1.5yrs.
The warranty sucks.

How does this one compare to the Amazon branded one? They look near identical and are usually sold for around the same price (w/o coupons).

Absolute junk! Do not buy. Previous models blew 3 times harder. They changed to a MUCH weaker motor. Speed 3 blows like speed 1 on the old style. Do not buy!

It was only 3 or 4 years ago or so that these were regularly making an appearance on SD for 10 bucks. I bought 2. They are pretty decent fans, and, as has been stated, move a goodly amount of air. At 77, it is quite difficult, increasingly so, to adjust to these ever higher prices (this fan up 36%) despite dealing with the '70s & '80s which were similar.

Bought one in 2019 and it died after 3 years. I bought another in 2022 and it is still running. I have to say, the new one was slightly different even though it was the exact same listing. I think the new one is a bit weaker. It sits under my desk at work and runs 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Been thinking about upgrading to a Vornado. But this thing doesn't die! Been going strong for 8yrs. Never took it apart. I just blast the dust off with a leaf blower. Pair these with smart plugs. Works way better than those fancy new fans that need remotes.
Just have a helium balloon with a ribbon tied to it left in a small office with the fan going. The ribbon gets sucked into the fan and either blows a fuse or burns out the motor. Easy way to kill this fan.
