There's instruction on the Deal Page at AMZ. You will need to access your garage opener to do so.

Keep in mind, these are 3rd party garage remote. So generic brand. Nothing wrong with generic brands if they work as stated.

Throwing out the option to get a Meross Wifi opener for $30-$40. Easy to install.

That way all family members can use their phone to open and close.

The arguments of having a dedicated opener in your car and Hackers....to each their own I guess.
Can you bypass the 4-digit code? Have you had any issues like being opened by itself or the app showing closed but it is open?

I have these same openers and they're honestly not good. Compared to the last garage door opener remotes I had, they work like 1/5 the distance.
Agree 100pc

TLDR: I bought a set and have only been able to program one remote for one door. The amount of time I've wasted trying to get a pair of remotes to open a pair of adjacent doors is criminal.

No issues for me, though I've read some folks had to unplug to reset, but rarely.

Not sure what you meant by the 4 digit code. It sends the signal to the same terminals that the wall pushbutton is connected to.

I went this route mainly because my teens are aways gone without keys. The front door smart lock battery weak/fails and wouldn't open. Then the old school Battery keypad also quit working (and new battery + reprogram wouldn't work).

CCC is showing this was about $8.30 for over a week earlier this month. It hasn't been that low before, but I don't need it now so I'll just add it to my cart and maybe catch it if it hits that low again.

You don't actually program the remote, you program your garage opener. Normally there's a learning button on the garage door opener that you have to press and then you push the button on the remote

My Meross WiFi opener only works 1/4 of the time if that. It says it's connected to the internet and plenty of strength, but tells me it unreachable almost every time I try and open it. I would be in trouble if I didn't have a chamberlain key pad outside of my garage.

Get a ladder. Press the small button on the back of your garage opener, don't hold it as it'll delete all your previous stuff. Press the button on the opener. Once it pairs your garage lights will blink.

Try MyQ if your opener supports it

Fun fact. Anyone who values the stuff in my garage enough to come in to it really likes some 00 buckshot to the nuts

depend on your generation of the garage openers. there was a early version that utilized dip switch, which you actually program the remote.

that said, most of newer ones don't use the dip switch, and rely on two way communications.

In general these remotes commicate at a certain freqency to your garage unit. Remove the cover to the motor (you'll need a 2-3 step stool or ladder) and the instructions to maintain it are usually on the back of the motor. There's info like the frequency it communicates at or a model number which should lead you to that info with some googling.

Scroll down to the compatability diagram near the bottom of the amazon listing to determine if this remote will work with your unit after verifying the frequency or color of the button on the unit.

If you know the frequency you could just amazon search other aestically, beter-looking remotes like ones that fit on a keyring.

These ones are pretty common on amazon. They're pretty cheap in quality but work. The clip always slides off, its not screwed on. Highly recommend you to superglue the clip if that's something you'll be using alot.

Looks to me like the price is $11.99 for ONE opener.
