Can anyone comment on battery life when non-gaming?

How is WQXGA compared to OLED. Clear difference for anyone using it daily or is it minor enough to ignore?

From what I've been hearing OLED uses more battery.

Damn that's a good spec for a good price. 32gb ram is pretty much future proof along with an 3050 for some light gaming. I just placed the order for pick up. Let's see how well it performs.

I would wait for the new ARM laptops to drop. Much better battery and is arguably more future proof. Also process on last Gen laptops will drop because of the new ones in the next couple of months
They already did. At least some of them, like the Microsoft, Asus, and Lenovo. I assume the others will have as well.

Of course if you intend to do any sort of gaming at all, the RTX3050 here will utterly crush the performance of the GPU in the new SnapDragon X Elite SoCs.

Hmm, decisions decisions. This one or the one sold by Costco at $1099 with a lesser GPU but 2T in storage.

Can 65w through USB-C power an RTX 3050 + P-series i7? Genuinely asking here. Maybe a 90w or greater charger will deliver better performance?

I chose this one because it has an empty slot m2 that if you want to add more storage you can versus you cant add a gpu if you decided you want it.

Battery life is excellent. Up to 10-12 hours. I Carry it around work all day. However it has a hard time with vpn Citrix (EPIC) Hospital stuff and will run low in about 6-7 hours. I plug it in at lunch and it is good to go. Web browsing 12 hours. Just FYI I hqvr the 17 inch rtx 2050 but this should be simar or better.

If you have the Microcenter credit card, you can either opt for 10% off or 24 months 0% financing. The card can't be used anywhere else and Wells Fargo will close it on you after a period of inactivity, but solid option to lower price or pay it off over time.
