There are many people who don't drive, can't drive, don't have a vehicle, or for some other reason can't or don't want to, or prefer not to shop physically in the store.
Instacart provides a service. It doesn't sell groceries or other physical items. The stores sell the items, Instacart shops for pickup and/or delivers. There's a cost to that which many of us are willing to pay either due to necessity, convenience, or simply because we want to.

It is entirely separate. Any cart or order placed on one website is not available to view on the other. Any instacart gift cards applied to one or not available on the other. Delivery scheduling is also separate.

I would like to make use of the Instacart $10/quarter chase credit.
If you have a Costco account you can use the $15 off $50 order deal that's currently available
I figure it is just as much work to pick up a $2 item as it is to pick up a $200 item (assuming the same weight) so they should be tipped the same. It is more work to pick up 20 different items than 20 of the same item, so the tip should be higher.
