128gb not enough storage and the 256 is still too expensive for the value.

Photos. Each year, the resolution increases, people transfer their photos from phone to phone rather than offloading them. 10 years of pics and videos can easily fill up that much space.

Is it true that the batteries on the 14 and 15 are crap? Heard a lot of people say they're already at 90% health after 6 months or so.
On my 14 Pro I'm at 93% after 14 months.

For those who travel frequently, you should now that these have no physical SIM slot (eSIM only) like the previous iPhone 14. There are many countries that still don't offer eSIM options.

Very true. The 15 Pro has a fast enough processor to handle the AI, but the non-pro 15 doesn't.
I read that it had to do more with the amount of RAM the device has. It needs 8GBBfir AI stuff. Pro has 8GB, non-pro 15 has 6GB.

I have a love/hate relationship with Apple.

Hey, you there! These phones are NEW and have never been in customer hands. They will have 100% battery life. However, they do come in a sleek custom black box and NOT the original retail packaging. They come with a 1 Year Vendor Warranty, but are NOT AppleCare eligible.

Anecdotal, but on my 15 pro at 97% battery health. Been using since October of last year, heavy daily use (videos, calls, music streaming etc). Do run out of batteries when I watch a bunch of videos during the day so I have to top off the battery a little in the evening. When I'm busy and barely check my phone the battery last all day no issues.

Curious where you offload yours? I've had a few different drives but added 1TB apple for now for 5 member family plan
My family uses a Synology to store photos and videos of large sizes (along with Plex). It is also used as a backup, but I'm like everyone else - I don't remove photos, just videos from the phone. Plex makes it easy to review the videos we remove from our phones.

people spending $200 extra on higher storage plans, better to pay icloud storage or cloud storage costing $3 per month or ~$40 a year which will last 3-4 years. 128 is more than enough for a phone, its not a storage device. people need to use it for what its created for.

I'm curious on what your data allocation is that takes up so much space? People's use cases are different and I'm not sure if apps just are taking so much more or people just like having local storage of media instead of relying on streaming or cloud?
Interestingly, the same apps that take 300-500 mb on a 64 gb device can occupy 1 gb to 1.5gb on a device with 256 gb. Also, especially video files are getting enormous as people shoot higher resolution and frame rate. Paid iCloud can help with the photo part but I estimate in one or two years 128gb will be insufficient if the apps keep getting bloated at this rate.

I'm a light user. Put my iPhone 15 into use late Oct, charge to 80% daily. I'm still at 100%.

Use an unlock mifi hotspot if this is an issue for you. You can link a bunch of people to one hotspot if needed and it's fast enough.
