Based on the past deals with metro, basically this is a one time payment of $75+applicable taxes for port in (which I would still consider a lukewarm deal) and $174+taxes for new line (not a good deal, IMHO) and keep the phone in the drawer for 12 months post which it will unlock for use. No need to pay for any subsequent months.

While $75 could still be ok for this phone getting unlocked after a year, given the hardware, $174 isn't worth IMHO.

The base 2023 edge is about 230 used after a year. So very little room for profit.

Makes more sense to buy edge 2023+ from boost for $240 with plan. Switch to $25 plan after first month.

I'd bite on this if Metro unlocked after 6 months. 1 year on a Sd 7gen2 isn too long a wait

7gen2 isn't even the latest, 7 series chip. It's slightly faster than the 2023 Edge, but still behind 2021 Edge+.

The $75/mo plan comes with 1 month amazon prime. Phone unlocks 12 months after activation. If you're already a metro user, add a second line and bring you own number will cost $35.

There's a soft credit pull at checkout. Each person/address is limited to 2 metro devices. Dealing with metro can be a great pain cause their cs are useless.
