Horrible CS experience. When I bought my 1070 in 2016 it was advertised with a 2+3 year (5 year combined) warranty (probably because they were a newer company and needed to make a name for themselves). Was even confirmed via their staff. When year 4 comes down the line and I had to use the warranty, I was told that I was out of warranty. I said this could not be the case as I was on year 4 out of 5. They double downed and said they do not offer a 5 year warranty in the US.

Sent them the screenshot/thread of staff confirming 2+3 year warranty in the US, they then just told me to pound sand.

So that is why I will PERSONALLY not deal with them.

I believe each manufacturer will have customer service horror stories. The real question is: Is it a recurring problems for zotac?

Today, everyone hates Asus, tomorrow it will be another brand.

Zotac makes decent gpus, they are on par with the competition imho. Its the cheapeast i have seen a 4070 ti super lately.

Hence the personally won't deal with them. If that is how they want to handle their one offs then they have lost a client for life along with any goodwill they could have built. Also have lost the business of my direct contacts since I will always tell my story.

Been working with oems for over 2 decades now, still have pleasant experiences with asus, giga, and msi. Until they mess up I will stick with them.
