This model is called Taniks.
I have Ultramarine Linux with KDE Plasma running on mine and everything works for free.

Other notes:
- Unlike what the linked site says, a SuzyQ cable is not needed — you can use the battery method
- You will need an NVME m.2 SSD to install windows on. Windows will not detect the included eMMC
- Before installing Windows, be sure to claim the 12 months free Google AI (which includes 2TB of cloud storage) from the Offers app in ChromeOS
- Be ready to live with built-in keyboard limitations as Chromebook keyboards do not map 1:1. In addition, keyboard backlighting is a bit limited in Windows (no hot keys to change backlight level, no good easy way to change backlight colors, no way to set backlight timeout to save battery)
- Sleep and power management is a bit finicky but do work
Anyway, this does make a very decent Windows machine for the price, if you like to fiddle. It's got a very decent screen, is fairly snappy considering the i3 and 8GB, and has relatively good construction.
But, don't buy this for Windows if you don't like to tinker… there are somewhat comparable laptops you can get for well under $100 more (search SD) after taking into account replacing the SSD and $20 for drivers. The big advantage of this laptop over those would only be the screen, IMO (resolution, display quality, brightness, and size).
