This has a single heater filament under the thin aluminum plate so there is quite a bit of non uniform heating. If you don't keep moving the whatever you are cooking or heating it will cook. In uniformly or even on one side. I love this to pre heat tortillas and rotis in this before putting it on a flame.

Yeah and if you check their profiles, they both exclusively post Costco deals. We are surrounded by bots, perhaps.

I still have mine that I got on SD years ago. Perfect for making a lot of breakfast, fast.

I will note that what they call the "warming tray" now used to be a garbage tray as there was a hole in the griddle for you to push waste into. It's hilarious to me that someone looked at it and was like..."hey, why don't we just close up the hole on the griddle and call the trash bin a warming tray? I bet we can sell even more of these!"

Have had one of these for about 3 years and we use it quite often. Heating can be a little uneven in places but I found uses for that when I want to cook two different things at once, which happens more often than you might think. Biggest praise I can give this is that it's lasted and just as good as the day I bought it.
I came here to say this. I love mine (it's a smaller version but looks nearly the same). it's not perfect but i've had it for 4 years and it's still working well. at this price i'd not hesitate if i needed one!

For future refence, he did not comment on this thread. SD moved his own thread here since there was one already. Which happens quite often. It just looks like a comment.

I wonder if I need this if it's something I'd only use a couple times a year.

I wonder that as well about you. Actually there's so many things I wonder about you.

few years back, i wondered the same and I bought it anyway; after using it for few times it ended up taking a permanent place in my garage. It is lot of work in a small house with limited real estate in the kitchen island or countertop. Unless you have enough space, you will bored of using, cleaning and storing it after every use. Instead I got a regular griddle to use in my gas stove top. As with pretty much all things, it has it's use, but not for us.

Though it has shortcomings, it's a big benefit for keeping food warm & fresh at the table while serving. It's also good during summertime to reduce the heat & odors in the house. Since it's portable, you can use it as a chafing dish and set casseroles on top to keep them warm at parties.

Amazon has it for $46.20.
https://www.amazon.com/BELLA-Heal...145&sr=8-3

And $50 was the highest they ever sold it for if you check camelcamelcamel.
So I doubt it was actually ever $85.

We've had a Presto Tilt -N-Fold XL (19x14) that we've used a lot over the years. It's seen better days. This looks like a comparable griddle. The Presto is about $70. So worth a shot. Thanks for posting.

I had this before. I wanted it for several things. Ended up just throwing it away due to uneven heating. Griddles are great in certain spots.

I've come to the realization that the bigger the griddle the bigger the cold spots.

Do not buy

Slickdeals outbound links contain too many trackers! My pop-up and Ad-blockers won't even let me open a deal anymore without proceeding through 5+ warnings! LIke, "Figger it out, Bud!"

Didn't these go for 9.99 at Thanksgiving specials at Kohls?

Thank for your feedback. I passed on this deal since it's something I would very rarely use by myself. This is probably more practical for families with multiple kids.
