Buyer beware. Look this up on Chewy, sourced from China. LegitPet website states "we use only sustainably sourced USA ingredients & thoroughly test each batch" yet provides no evidence to back that up. Sent an email in the past inquiring about this, no response. Fishy in more ways than one.
Thanks, I passed on this partly because its regular price was far lower than brands with established reputations. I might be passing on a good deal but would rather be reasonably sure that my senior dog is getting quality product.

Yeah....very weird. Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil....yet claims to be made in Florida on their website...https://legitpet.com/products/wil...-32-oz.... and you say it's made in China. We can all agree it doesn't appear to come from Alaska Smilie lol. Why would any company take salmon all the way from alaska to (in the best case) Florida to extract the oil?

Probably, because never heard of this brand and thus suspect. I'm hesitent to buy myself.
For what it's worth, my English black lab, who is now 11, has been taking this brand salmon oil with his food for over 2 years and is very healthy.

I also inquired with Chewy over 6 months ago. Chewy would only say that vendors provide the product information shown, implying that LegitPet is contradicting themselves, re: sourcing. If the Chewy info (that LegitPet apparently provided) stating it's sourced from China is incorrect, LegitPet has not corrected it for >6 months.

Also:
-Google "Guangzhou Jlh Biotechnology Co., Ltd", click alibaba link, search "salmon oil". See anything familiar?
-"Unauthorized distribution of an NSF certificate" [nsf.org]

We, the US, send Menhaden to China where they extract oil. So Alaska to Florida isn't much of a stretch.
LegitPet lists a Florida condo building as their address. Seems "Legit".

Usually when a brand name includes an adjective like "Legit" or "Quality," you can get a pretty accurate idea of their products by inserting "Not" at the beginning of the name.

Some of their marketing material has misspelling.

I bought this about a month ago. It arrived leaking everywhere, with no seal on the bottle. The product was rancid to boot! Amazon initially refused a refund, but I was eventually able to get one. I went back to a different brand. Don't waste your time!

Huh ... I just finished a bottle of this a few minutes ago for my dogs. Got it at the same price a month or three ago.

Just as good as the 32 USD salmon oil I had before.

Is no one concerned about counterfeit supplements on Amazon? I always buy my supplements at Chewy or a legit brick and mortar store.
Been told by vet not to buy supplements/treatments for dog or cat on Amazon. Even more so if from outside US. Told me to use Chewy. I would not trust source.

Im always wary of these fish oil supplements for dogs. With the way human oil of all kinds are adulterated and and purposely mislabeled, the chances of adulterated, low quality rancid oil that is harmful for pets is probably worryingly high
