I think I'd be more tempted to go with one of these combos [ebay.com] and get some extra free blades. I understand they wear out pretty quickly.

Home Depot is clearancing these and the little 3.5" plunge saws at stores near me for $60.
Still no reason to buy Dremel over any other model.
The $49 3.5 amp Hercules [harborfreight.com] is an example of a comparable tool at a better price.
For most people any $20 corded one will do the same tasks.
