those together is worth like 200 dollars.

Thanks OP. I opted for the 512GB SSD for $50 more. $699 is the lowest I have ever seen for that configuration. While I would have preferred classic Silver, the Green looks pretty good to me.

These 8-core models also come with the Touch ID keyboard, which is a nice upgrade (as well as the 4 USB ports and gigabit ethernet). And because it's an M1 it will be able to use Apple's local AI features with macOS Sequoia.

Yes, "Factory Reconditioned" isn't guaranteed to be refurbished by Apple, but FWIW I got an M1 Pro 16" MBP from Woot about 6 months ago with the same "Factory Reconditioned" condition with 90-day Woot warranty. It was indeed an Apple Refurb (essentially brand-new) and had no problems getting qualified for the AppleCare 1-year warranty by chatting with Apple support.

Sort of surprised this thread isn't getting any attention (yet).

Smart. I didn't even notice that 512 is only $50 more. $699 is a steal for such a configure. The keyboard and mouse alone worth may $150 or more. The screen quality easily worth $200+ premium. The lowest ever before is about $850 for refurbished open box.
At this price even that 8gb ram is forgivable lol

Great deal. However something to be aware of is If its similar to the mac mini m1 8GB then expects some performance stutters with 8GB of ram if you have too many apps running at once. Great for simple PC usage and not heavy stuff like 4K video editing

Just remember you only get 5 years software support EOL on Mac. So this already has 2 1/2 of the 5 year window used.

Wish these things would have been touchscreen, would have made an awesome wall mounted PC since they are so thin!

For what it is as a basic computer but still very capable, this is a very good price. I felt the recent BB deal (BB refurbished but mine had a full 1-year warranty) was quite good, and this Woot one beats it by about $140.

Sweeten the deal with 10% back (up to $50) at a certain cash back site! I may also sell off the keyboard and mouse to bring down the price even more, since I have several other Apple wireless keyboards and trackpads.

Used my AMEX in case of any issues.

If it were a surface product at these specs it would be getting lit up with negative comments...

I get the functionality of the magic keyboard with an iPad Pro. Honest question: what's magic about a magic keyboard or mouse in this desktop all in one setup?

Yeah, because Windows handles memory differently than macOS.
