Enter promo code ASUSVIP25 for 25% off. The GT-AX6000 is essentially the same as the RT-AX88U Pro router. Dual 2.5gbe WAN/LAN ports. This is the cheapest I've seen for either of these routers. Free Shipping. Code would not work for the RT-AX88U Pro on their site.

I am seriously considering the following wi-fi routers, which cost less (some used/refurb):

Asus RT-AX86U
MSI RadiX AXE6600
Netgear RAXE300
Netgear RAX200
TP Link Archer AXE95
TP Link AX5400 Pro
TP Link AX6000

My priorities are range, coverage, reliability, and latency more than throughput. I still have many wifi 5 devices, and I have only two 6e devices.

Really depends on the price you're paying for each of those but I will say that Asus routers generally have the longest firmware support with Merlin firmware.

I haven't heard great things about TP-Links consumer grade routers. That's coming from someone with TP Link Omada APs in their house. I currently use a TPLink ER605 but I've had reliability problems with it. My EAP225 access points have been rock solid though. I was using an old Asus router from like 2015 with Merlin firmware. I had better luck with it than the ER605 for wired routing but it didn't have the CPU power for gigabit WAN QoS.

I would go for the RT-AX86U Pro if it's considerably cheaper than the GT-AX6000 posted here.

Gl-inet Flint 2 can often be had for <$150 new. That is similar and is supported by OpenWRT.

GL.iNet is typically a really good option but the Flint 2 has been pretty buggy from what I've read. Particularly with the wifi side.

I don't have any first hand experience with the Flint 2. It just seems to be a good price for the HW that you get. Maybe some of the issues are solved by going to OpenWRT stock.
The OpenWRT discussion [openwrt.org] on it seems pretty active.
