Correct, anything that does not possess the capabilities for a specific use case could be considered useless. Since my car can't fly, it is useless unless you want basic road transportation

I use this same unit to connect my Klipsch computer speakers (which only has a 3.5mm jack) to my Apple TV via Bluetooth. Gets me EXCELLENT sound for my large living room and even allows me to control volume through the Apple TV (even though the Klipsch speakers only have the manual knobs for volume control).

What audio codec does this use? I hate any Bluetooth device that only uses SBC.
