Would really love to figure out how integrate one of these into my current solar system so it will draw from this at night automatically before pulling from the grid and then recharge during the day with excess solar before it goes back to the grid. Anyone have suggestions? I already have the solar edge stor-edge inverter which is battery ready.

Any idea what it costs to install the panel for the 18 KWH for automatic switching? Also, is there a better price per KWH if I got, say, 50 KWH or more? I'd like to get my house to three days of backup including the AC, and that's about 50 KWH.

You need an inverter with automatic transfer switch capabilities. The one we got installed for Tesla has an app attached to it designate either Time of Use offset during higher peak or self sustainability all times of the day.

Well if ya can afford it, buy 3 of the Costco deals, one that includes their panel. The battery packs go for $2500 on sale, so Costcos 18KWH offer for $8000 which includes 3 battery packs is a great deal.

You can sell 1 inverter and battery pack together(I'm assuming you need to balance the batteries on each inverter with 4 batteries each) and end up with 14400WH of available inverter power and 48KWH of battery backup.

BTW the Costco Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra Whole-Home Power Solution (18 KWH Solution) is available for ordering again.

This is a 12KWH version available too, but it's only $1000 less, so I don't see the point of ordering it.
