Seems like you fell for the Apple gimmick. They can easily make all those apple intelligence features run on older iPhones, but purposely make it available exclusively for the newer ones. Most of those features are barely useful anyway. Just use copilot or chatgpt directly.

This is an excellent deal if it's new in box

According to reddit users [reddit.com], they basically put your order on backorder for couple of months. They also don't tell you that in the orders page.

AI is overrated for phones at the moment . The technology leap is 2-3 years behind for Apple. It would advance as other Apps build AI integration and development would take another year or 2. So by time you want AI you would need iPhone 17 or 18

Depends on if they care about the Ai features. Most current iPhone owners aren't going to be running to Apple to get an iPhone 15 just for some Ai features.
