Well, I guess they're going with the old "National Fry Day", unless corporate wasn't notified of the change in dates?

they are trying to get more ppl to use the app. i mean thats the only way i get things thru McDs. always has deals.

Its not free. What is your time worth? I walked past MCDs a few weeks ago when they had a free 4 nuggets and the store was packed with maybe 40 people waiting. Is it worth waiting for 30 mins?

Because they have the data more people return and keep coming back throughout the week and month if they have the app installed. I personally know from experience. I had the app and went there to often even to just get the $2 breakfast sandwich. I have since deleted the app and eat a hard boiled egg and a fruit in the mornings and save money and feel more healthy and maybe hit up McDonald's once a month now.

they can hire less staff to work the counter also if everyone is ordering through the app

Given the amount of time people spend here criticizing deals they'd never buy in the first place, I'd say many peoples time is worth nothing. Smilie

This here ^^...I order everything through the app and only order deals (if I can). I also carry two phones, each with a different McD account, so I can double-deal in one trip. Smilie

$6 Big Mac, fries and a drink is my go-to when I'm in the mood. 99 cent LARGE iced coffee is a nice treat on a weekend morning with two McMuffins for $6.

yes, they have more data, because I'm sure like all apps, it leaks data to them to sell. its' why everyone wants you to have there app. They all want to be data brokers now.
