Planters:

Instructions:
Scatter media. Lightly flatten out. Scatter seeds. Lightly dust on some media. Mist. Cover in the greenhouse cake pan lid. Remove lid once evidence of sprouting. Keep damp not soaked. Cut off with a super sharp knife or scissors if preferred.

About 2.5 times the cost, but probably 1000x the yield.

Recently got into sprouts and would say something like this is a lot easier for me. I guess the downside is that you need to remember to wash them twice a day.

Amazon - search for "sprouting seeds" and that's what you use. Takes about 5 days to get a jar full using 2 table spoons of seeds. Put them in a container after with papertowel

If you are just looking for an intro, then this seems like a good price.

If you are looking for bang for the buck, you just buy a bag of broccoli seeds off eBay/Amazon and a bag of coconut coir from Lowes or Home Depot. Then you just grow them in a casserole pan, or any wide, shallow container.

This little kit is a cool sample to see if you want to keep doing it.

Jar sprouting is easier, but also worse texture in my opinion. If you A-B them, I think the vast majority of people will like planter microgreens over jar sprouts. If you are throwing them in a smoothie, who cares? On a little sandwich with some prosciutto, I'd want the microgreens.

Here's another person A-Bing them.
