For those who wonder, the battery chemistry is lithium-ion, not LiFePO4 for this particular model.

then, don't do it, I guess is the moral. Why risk higher fire danger when you can avoid.. The best SD is to prevent loss.

As someone who is just starting to research one of these to purchase, is lithium-ion not good?

Li-ion is more engery dense and lighter but fire and explosion risk. Lifepo4 is safer, no fire risk.

Both is pretty safe if stored properly. They both don't like heat, so don't leave them in a hot car.

Li-ion is usually 500-2000 life cycles and lifepo4 2000-8000 cycles.

I use both chemistry. Li-ion, my cars rav4 prime, pruis, m4 12v battery and my flashlights. Lifepo4 for solar/energy storage.

The ac50s about 500wh mainly for lights, cell phones, laptop, small tv, small 12v fridge. Under 300 watt draw.

If you are trying to run a microwave, hair dryer, blender. You need a power station capable of 2000 watts, but that unit is pretty heavy.

I also have the ac200, ac50s, and eb3a

I have the Eb3a version, it's bad. Works OK initially, now I can't even power it up unless I have the power cord attached and then wait a while and then it will work will charge but not 100% fully, then I'll use it for a little and then it's dead again. In order to get it working with solar charging, it can't be in the dead state; charge it with power cord a little, then charge it using solar, but yeah that beats the purpose since I have to "attend to it" and I can't trust when it will work. There are so many EcoFlow deals, avoid Bluetti

This question is not easy to answer. I skimmed through a few tennis ball machine and I am unable to find the power draw of the machines.

To better answer this question.
Important information needed is your machine battery powered (DC) or corded 120v (AC household) and the power draw.

Assume your machine has a battery built-in, also your charger is a 24v 2A charger. Then the ac50s will work fine because 24v x 2A = 48 watts.

Volts x Amp = Power Draw

Let's use a 10 watt light bulb for example.

Ac50s 500Wh battery / 10w light bulb load = ~50 hours runtime. Let's not forgot about inefficiencies usually 10-20%. 50hrs - 15% is 42.5hr realistic runtime.

If your tennis ball machine run AC power only, and draws around 500-1500w then a bigger power station is needed.

Now I have given you the math, you can research yourself.

I can definitely agree with this I have a ps54 I used it to run my entertainment system 65 inch tv ps5 and the router for the internet and my camera router the tv and ps5 I played 2 :30 hours then went to sleep and turned of the bluetti at 11 at night after running for 7 hours straight the highest draw of power was 230 watts when the tv and PlayStation were on definitely worth buying I'm planning on buying one in the 700 wh to 1000wh as I'm sure those would last a full day
