Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank mahou

As an electrican, who has it and who need to pull wires and sometimes CAT 6 cable, it is not useful. There are usually insulation or blockings behind the walls. In a large TI environment, it would be better use. But normally, I don't find it that helpful. It has been sitting on my shelf more than I use it.

Appreciate your input a lot. This is sort of what I figured and has been what has kept me from the temptation to buy these in the past. You helped to reinforce that. Thanks!

I feel like this falls somewhere between high profit marketing gimmick, and extremely niche application tool. Need to move low voltage or data inside the same, uninsulated wall cavity? It will probably get the job done. (That's normally a 14.5"x92.625" space FYI). You could buy a fish pole AND tape for this price, and do a lot more.

My $.02 - Unless you like having every imaginable contingency covered, hard pass for pros. Homeowner hanging a flat screen, or full time A/V installer, you may love it.

Offtopic - How are you terminating your CAT6 mahou? Keystones, field terms, 45s? I need a new crimper, and been considering the EVO/EVOEX. Not sure if they live up to the hype, or any comparable/better options.

Thanks in advance.

Do you use fish tape? Or something else?

This seems to go counter to many of the review and comments on both the HD website as well as Amazon. What are all of them missing?
