Does this avoid turds… my last roomba 980 definitely did not and boy oh boy….it was a sh*t show
I don't think so, it has a tendency to bump right to the obstacle/object and try to go around it if it realizes that's an obstacle. If you're watching some Youtube comparing between this model and some other similar ones like the L10S Ultra or the Eufy X10 pro omni, you'll find they have much better object avoidance (including 💩), take a look at the Eufy X10 pro.

For those of you that have a Roborock, what detergent are you guys using?

I just bought the master and so far it's been great but i'm still learning all the different settings.

I picked up a certified refurbished Q Revo during the last ebay frontpage deal for $565.
is it worth it to return my original purchase and repuchase from costco?

it seems like the only benefit would be the additional accessories (mop pads, dust bags, etc) and the fact that it's brand new vs refurbished.

The QRevo S is available at Walmart for $649. Is the Costco model newer and better than the QRevo S?

I'm using the Roborock OMO cleaner. It's a little pricey for a bottle of solution, but you use so little that I figured that it was worth it.

I will say that my Q Revo does a considerably better job with the OMO solution than with just plain purified water

No the Costco model is older. Its same as Q revo with accessories (5500 pa suction). Q revo S has better suction.

The Q Revo S has higher suction and lifts the mops higher when it's vacuuming carpet. I did read that it has a smaller dustbin (edit: 330ml vs 350ml, so a pretty small change), since the motor is bigger. Also this Costco version (QX Revo = Q Revo) comes with extra accessories. Roborock has too many models...

Looking around more, at least some people claim the S is less noisy when emptying into the dustbin, and it's easier to remove the sensor on the mop washing tray for cleaning (https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock...q/l5l5kcu/)

Here's the Walmart link for the S for anyone who's interested:

Following. Hoping for some mid-July deals on the new versions. And hoping that Costco begins stocking the new versions.

That was my main question as well. We have a mixed floor type, would be a real mess if it started to hose down carpet. Is there an edit mode in the app where you can manually tell it to where to and where to not mop? No go zones? etc.

I currently have a Shark model for a few years and it's great for keeping up after our husky, but it's not as good a legit vacuum. Plus most of the floor is a kitchen and could use mopping every now and then, but $700 is steep, the Shark was less than half that.
