I'm not the original commenter but I'm also added as a household member in my cousin's prime account and live at a different address. Hell even live in a different state (CA vs AZ). Lol. I was able to get $200 gc when I applied for this card couple of weeks ago. Hope it helps.

Yes when I clicked, it said $200 gift card. Even now when I click, the link says $200. I'm not aware of any other way to be added to a prime account other than household member. Just create a new dummy account and get trial prime membership and then see if it changes anything. Be careful, you only get 3% cashback for being a non-prime member. If your current account doesn't recognize you as prime, then it's highly unlikely that it will do later on. You may end up with 3% cb unless you get prime membership.

Paid prime membership gives 5% back on Amazon spending, free prime membership would switch that to 3%, I believe. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
