You can always shred your card. Make sure to note down the card details (number, exp date etc) just in case you need it in future.

You must have forgotten the numerous uses of the physical card.
For example
No foreign transaction fees when abroad.
And
Whole Foods and other Amazon owned stores for yet more Cashback on store purchases.
I guess you forgot these?
