In the description above, it says "Upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Pro." Does it mean that version is an upgrade only and not the full version?

Good catch! Very misleading if true.

it says
- win 11 home
-win 11 pro
-lifetime activation
-upgrade from home to pro

so seems to be home or pro an you can upgrade from home if wanted?

Iirc windows stopped doing the "upgrade version" keys during win 7/8 days, I believe they only issue and activate full independent keys

I'd be shocked if the keys here only allowed upgrades rather than full installs

You can't pay me to "upgrade to win11 from win 10".

I know an agenda when I see one.

Windows 10 will reach end of life in October 2025 so no more support at that point. We will all have to migrate to Windows 11 at some point unless you want to switch to Linux or some other OS.

Just because MSFT will stop supporting it doesn't mean that any of us would have to migrate to anything else.

If you always have to have cutting edge software all the time that relies on the cutting edge os features then sure, but it's not always necessarily the case. If they put a fancy kill switch that can't be patched in the os then perhaps we'd have to, but I'm not aware of anything like that yet...

All the people looking to stay off 11, there are altered customized installations that kill off a majority of the privacy issues going on. One of them is "x-lite" that you can look up. You still need a way to provide a valid key to activate and it's still Windows, the installation was changed to remove everything you don't want...
The only reason im not on 7 on my main still is cause after leaving everything behind my new stuff came with win10. Win7 began a landside process of limiting users. Win7 would see my software to mod files (like mocrosoft dev software) as viruses an delete them. Targeting xbox files specifically enough to assume this was just "unwanted by microsoft" software files being deleted. as far as i remember i had to ditch 1/3rd my software to switch from xp to 7 as well. Most likely 10 wouldve done that to some software from 7 too. Its really not designed much better at all.

Mostly the internet an software use more power for looking pretty , like the weather channel or news gives me 50 scam ads per page with bright blue an white colors. 30 ads wouldve been used as a method to freeze up peopels computers an boot people off the internet. but thank god for tecj genius billionaires to advance us to be able to watch high resolution ads by the millions a day. without them we would still be outside playing football or something

I work on business IT systems professionally for fortune 500 companies. I still stay away from windows 11 at all costs. It is terribly unreliable and has many hardware bugs and security issues with little documentation still.

I would be fairly concerned about security, especially as time passes...

The most likely grey market keys (OME not Retail keys). Means, once they're activated, they will only work one time, if you update any of your hardware (motherboard/cpu), you'll need a new key.
