someone's review in the forum said they bought it and can't figure out why it's magsafe and it has suction cups.

Read the review before making a purchase

"I dont have any idea how this is MagSafe. I've got MagSafe accessories and this does not behave in any way like MagSafe. I can slip off my MagSafe accessories and then try to slide this in to snap fit and there is simply no magnetic attraction that I can determine. The suction cups are terrible, and while it's my bad for impulsively buying this based on the promise of MagSafe I cannot imagine these suction cup do-jobbers being a value add."
