Might want to spring for the extreme version if it's available. It wouldn't be that much more money. Also the Ally X should be coming out soon.

Yeah, didn't see the extreme version available at NFM sadly. The only other handheld I can see that they have is the MSI Claw and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

I bought a z1 for $300 when Best Buy had it on sale for that price overnight. I was unsure of how much I'd play a handheld gaming laptop so I didn't want to spend the extra money on the extreme. Great deal. Played fallout 4, aliens dark descent, and a few other games with no issues. I will upgrade at some point, but you won't regret getting the z1 for $250 cheaper than the extreme if you're on a budget
