This is a fine case for most people, especially if you're just worried about avoiding scratches from other stuff in your pocket, and for this price you can't go wrong. If you're concerned about drops, though, I suggest avoiding it. I have a coordination disorder so I have to put cases on everything because I'll inevitably drop things. I got this for Christmas and the few times I dropped my Airpods Pro case from around waist/hand height (3-4 ft), the impact on our hardwood floors would cause the top to pop open and launch the Airpods across the floor. If you're at all concerned about drops, I suggest buying a case that has some sort of method for keeping the top closed, like a latch or a silicone loop.

Just an FYI, Target generally has AirPod Pro cases in stock in store and run about $10-15. The only thing I don't like about the ESR is that the top is "stuck" on and not all one peice.
