Lowe's can be hit or miss with warranty... when my 80V mower started to smoke, it was no hassle to get store credit for the full amount. When my 80v hedge trimmer did the same a year later, it was an endless cycle of headaches before I decided to ditch lowes and kobalt. I will say I was happy with the 80V when it worked and it seems like they're more invested in the 40V system.
