The generic hose nozzles machined from solid brass can be had for similar prices and will last a lifetime... I'd avoid this complex plastic assembly.

Their hoses are solid but their nozzles are cheap plastic junk that breaks and leaks easy.

The video shows a pitiful pressure stream. Looks about as useful as something from the dollar tree.

Thank you! Actually I ordered a Flexzilla hose set as an extension a month ago that didn't have the fittings and they let me keep the hose. I can finally use it now!

I have had them for a couple of year with no issues or problems. I'm buying backups, hard to beat at 5his price for sure.

I know Flexzilla hoses are great but pricey

Enjoy buying more next year Smilie Just get the solid brass and some quick connects. This plastic stuff is garbage.

I'm still using the same Craftsmen rubber hoses I bought when my 18 year old was tiny. Just buy actually quality stuff and skip Flexzilla.

While pricy, I've had good luck with:

* Dramm shut off valves (such as https://www.amazon.com/Dramm-3500...B0B4R3DRBQ). The Underhill https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TLN81U CV075H has also worked well.

* Dixon quick connects, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00835N902/

* Melnor Vortex Metal nozzle, https://www.homedepot.com/p/Melno.../315674205.

I used to be "buy plastic and replace every two years" but was tired of spraying myself with water. Now all I need to do is give the female quick connect a shot of white lithium grease each spring.

Can't speak to this model but this is a lower entry price to the generic design. I have the ACE Hardware version that I purchased on a discount but they're functionally the same.

Quick connect fittings: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08W9M48Y7
I have this product and I'm satisfied with their quality. Paid 14.99 a year ago for the set.

What is the advantage of this multi-part system over a regular pistol grip with adjustable spray patterns besides having additional parts to lose?

The typical metal ones rust at my shore house (too close to the ocean), I wonder if this plastic-type is the way to go for me. Anyone else have that kind of scenario?
