This was a pretty fun game. It wasn't very long but for $3 it's worth it for a structured city building style of game with time limit and environment as the enemy.

I discovered this gem as a freebie from epic games and I have loved hours and hours of gameplay. Highly recommended, one of the best resource management games out there where you challenge yourself to the limits

This was a really good game and definitely worth playing, but many people (including me) found it to be so bleak and depressing as to not be able to stick with it long term. After completing the first mission successfully, I had had enough, but would still recommend it, especially at this price.

I have a couple hundred hours in this game and only beat the dlc scenarios once (I'm stuck on the "A New Home" achievements). If you're an achievement hunter, then this game can take dozens of hrs optimizing your builds for each scenario. If you're casual or don't get sucked in by this type of gameplay, then you'll probably get your fill within 40 hrs.

I got this game from the Epic store a while back. Epic has been giving away free games left and right.

This is a pretty cool game.

Frostpunk 2 is coming soon I think.

epic is desperate to make headway against steam, but it won't work. just like how ms had trouble trying to get into the smartphone os biz, or mac os vs win. Timing is everything and you just cannot be late for the party. Once customers and licensees get settled in, there isn't going to be major market changes esp if the only reason is a temporary freebie/sale promo. There needs to be a compelling reason for anyone to make a switch. Like apple giving short shrift to mac os in favor of iOS stuff is a reason for pros to dump it, or MS sticking ads/spyware/nagware notifications popping up all over windows user interface, that's the compelling reason for me to dump it. I think I will try steam os desktop bc win 11 is junk. I'd rather run a steam os, than a steaming pile EEK!

There are so few games that will run on MacOS, and from a quick search it appears this will run on a M1 processor!

I'll have to research this game further as this game looks promising as a city builder Smilie

Great game. It's definitely the most immersive city builder I've played. The DLC's (included in the deluxe edition) didn't grab me as much as the main story/scenario, but I think it is worth the extra personally. You'll mostly get the full experience with just the base game, but the DLCs give you extra snapshots into the story and scenarios which are very unique (it doesn't feel like more of the same).

The city must survive.
