I assume that's the only place it counts, on the app or web browser, ordering through McDonald's and paying with Paypal. Not a 3rd party like grubhub

YMMV. Unable to replicate. Some accounts only have 1% cashback for walmart. EB is 2%

Gift cards work. I got a walmart gift card and points are pending. Paypal says 90 daya for points to be available. There is an exlusions list, and I did not see gift cards on it. Keep in mind you can use the 8% back only once so make it count.

Got the 20% McDs.... says "when you pay online" but online options are grubhub and such or use the app. Does ordering via the app qualify as "pay online"? Anybody know?

Same here only offer is 20% off McD's but unsure... does PayPal give you a virtual Apple Pay card?

Well that is the question. There is no way to order through the web browser with McD's directly. The only way is to order through the app or choose one of the 3rd parties. The language of the offer is not specific.
