I would like to get this for my kids, but I don't know much about Pokémon. How many cards are included? I know it comes with 4 booster packs, but is that just a few cards?

40 per pack, but usually a pack goes for $3.50-5. This particular set was hard to come by for a bit, but it looks like they are being reprinted. I did pick this up and the binder is cute for what it is. I think $25 is a pretty fair price, I can't believe the base price was $45 though, haha.

This is a really fair price for this particular set of cards.

If you're looking for just cards, there are cheaper options, type in pokemon tcg into the search bar and you'll find some at $3 per pack.

But they won't come with the binder. This set is also unique in that it has the original 151 pokemon in it so it's very sought after.

10 cards per booster pack, 40 cards total with this item.

So for $25, it's expensive for just 4 packs, but with the inclusion of the binder and card holder sheets, it's not a terrible value.

I had a %10 off toys/games coupon in my account, that along with my red card gets it close to about $20 after tax. $5/pack plus a "free" binder.

Base price was never $45. It has always been $25. OP messed up the title, probably meant it was just in stock again. The $45 price is not real. This isn't some great savings, just back in stock now.

Grabbed it for $21.37+tax at Target, after redcard 5% and a 10% circle coupon for toys.

It is definitely a good set that gets a lot of people back into Pokémon cards like 2005, as it did for me. Original 151 Pokémon? Ok i can comprehend those! Good price for a decent set plus a binder that can easily goes for 15+ alone. If you're a collector and just didn't know it, pull the trigger on this!

This particular set is very nostalgic for many Pokémon fans, they are all the original Pokémon I grew up watching as a child. I think your children will like this set. This particular deal is fair, as it breaks down to $6.25 per pack before taxes and not including the cost of the folder. What you want are the cards. 10 cards per pack.

There are times when this set will have restock and it's best to watch for the Booster Bundle that has 6 packs in them each, msrp is around $27. So don't go overpaying for them. Happy hunting!

If you end up wanting to finish the set, it's best to buy the cards individually from other sources like a local card store, expos, eBay, or other collectors.

The Snorlax Elite Trainer Box is apart of this set and msrp on those are $50, it has a small booklet guide with all the cards required and what to hunt for, it will be most helpful to get one of those boxes to get on the right track.

Also use TCG website to get a gauge on how much a card might be worth so you don't get ripped off when buying or selling. Any questions, hit me up.
