LA fitness regular yearly plan is better than this. And they have more locations and a slightly better gym setup. If you don't have LA fitness then, this might be a good option.

Where I live (LA) there are several locations of both LAF and 24 Hour.
I use Active Fit Direct and have had access to both gyms.
LA Fitness is definitely the overall better of the two.
And like others have mentioned, despite the name, 24 Hour is not a 24/7 operation.
