Happy hour discounts even let you pick up instead of forcing you to get it delivered so you save a lot on fees. The Uber prices are very close to the prices in-store so with the discounts it is much cheaper. And Taco Bell lets you schedule your order so as long as you order from 2-5 pm you can pick up whenever.
It gets better if you got the Uber gift cards from Costco as well.

((for context) where I live, there is a few franchise ones, and one corporate one, with the latter being actual prices, & franchise having raised. same with Popeyes, subways, and a lot of other companies that franchises.)

- Terrible service - slow, items never made correctly, never ever have items in stock
- Food quality lower than the lowest (Checkers and Hardees)
- Prices above McDonalds (sitting at #1 for fast food in terms of volume / quality)
So I am waiting longer for my food (that costs more than every other competing fast food chain) and which also happens to be inedible.
They touted their "cantina" chicken as a slow roasted premium up charge $1.50 - it's straight up gross
Pay a few more dollars and get Chipotle or QDoba or if you cant afford it go to Dominos at least it will be more nutritious on top of being way cheaper
Taco Bell purchases min 2 grades lower than most pizza places, like Dominos, because the customer sees the produce/meat front and center in a pizza store.
Taco Bell's "special" chicken and beef is your basic chicken topping at any pizza place. So you want to pay extra for something others deem as the norm?
What I found funny is that anyone would defend Taco Bell, literally one of if not the worst fast food joint.
Fresh tomatoes, a little cheddar, fresh lettuce, and sour cream (probiotics, yay) all trump high-fat processed sausage or pepperoni over a sheet of mozzarella and sugary tomato sauce on a piece of bread baked in margarine. Say what you will about TB meat, but it's rarely ever dripping grease like a slice of Dominos.
Frankly, I like both, but am not deluded enough to think Dominos is significantly better for me.
