Ah Slickdeals, the place where there will be dozens of people buy these pliers who will never use them, but the price is too good to pass up. They would look good in the tool box, though. 🤣

Being a 4-H child of the 70's these things are great to have for more than just fence…N41.

Had to look these up to see their use case. I kinda like the hammer face and hook feature.

As the IT guy for a company that installs fence (read: guy who knew a little more about computers than anyone else, which is a really low bar to begin with at a fence company), I know to buy as many of these as I can, they are built to last and will be put to good use.

I want a pair, don't really need a pair...what's keeping me back is HFT has a pair for the regular everyday price of $9.99 if I ever get the itch or need them for a job. The Irwin's might be better, who knows. Almost guarantee you that the warranty is different, it's hard to shake a stick at HFT's warranty these days over anywhere else.

I mainly use this for setting up barbwire fences or taking out staples from post on the fence . Very handy for ranch hands

I am donating my SD-brain to see if sheep-brain can replace it.
In for one as well.. at least I have a stapled garden fence to try it on.

I probably need more than two hands to count the impulse SD (or FW) tool buys I've done that paid off… mos or years later.

HF ones are built tougher than most junk I've got from them. Handy for beating on things and pulling staples. Otherwise, I barely use mine.

Everyone seems to live so close to HF. A nearby HF is about 1.5-2hrs away for me
