Use these at work, love them. Wanted a reason to get one for home and this is definitely it.

Love this bench/ladder. But if you are on the fence of either getting this one or the cheaper Gorilla one with fixed legs also on sale right now, get this one and buy a second one to go with it. It will be a purchase you won't regret for the rest of your life.

Years ago i bought the Gorilla one and used it through out the years as a stepping stool, bench, saw horse, ramp you name it. It's light weight and very sturdy as long as you are on even ground. That said i always wanted the one with extendable legs and eventually got the Werner, and kicked my self for holding out for so long.

Every benefit that the Gorilla ladder had got multiplied because the extendable legs come in extremely hand, and if you have 2 of them you can link them for a longer platform. I was not sure about the fixed legs compared to other extendable ladders where each leg can vary in lenght if you need to set it up on uneven ground, but its safer to have the fixed legs as i wont be tempted to do something dumb.

Only downside with the Werner compared to the Gorilla is the weight. This one is significantly heavier and the footprint is a bit wider. Having two different platforms i normally reach for the Gorilla if i don't need the extra height, but if i did not have that one i would be happy with this as well. Especially when trying to reach from the Gorilla and not having the extra height i end up packing that one up and grabbing a ladder instead. If i was using the Werner it would have been just a matter of extending the legs.
