About this film:
  • The heat is on in this fast-paced action-comedy starring Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a street-smart Detroit cop tracking down his best friend's killer in Beverly Hills. Axel quickly learns that his wild style doesn't fit in with the Beverly Hills Police Department, which assigns two officers (Judge Reinhold and John Ashton) to make sure things don't get out of hand. Dragging the stuffy detectives along for the ride, Axel smashes through a huge culture clash in his hilarious, high-speed pursuit of justice. Featuring cameos by Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Damon Wayans, and newly remastered for 4K UHD by director Martin Brest, Beverly Hills Cop is an exhilarating essential blockbuster!

Own most of these 3 packs can't beat the bargain. It's a DVD pack but seriously... WTF cares? I really hope that they do more of these

Great deal though collectors should be aware they've packaged all these formats together...in a DVD case.

Does it include a slipcover? I'm assuming no since it's Amazon?

I don't believe this cheaper reissue line with all the formats included has slipcovers at all.

That's probably available on the full price original 4K disc.

This line is an experiment by Paramount to see if there's an interest.

I own all these 3 packs that came out a couple of months ago. For everyone complaining on other websites (yes, they are) and potentially here about the case it's not that bad and the price is a great deal. It doesn't look bad next to regular 4k cases either. Yes believe it or not people still use DVD'S for those scratching their heads; including me in our car with its built in player on trips and portable DVD player.
Hoping they do more of these.

FYI the transfer on this is not that great and only half an upgrade( no AQ upgrade).

Another perfect example on what a movie is shot in("Native 4k"resolution) doesn't really determine on quality of the picture.
If this is a must-have in the best transfer available now, this is a no brainer.

Who's gonna watch the DVD or Blu-ray versions when you have the 4K included. Maybe give them way but it seems pretty unnecessary. If they are going to give a multi disc version, it should include the sequels.

4K is for the 86" in the living room with the 4K player, Blu's are for the living room (if no 4K) and around the house, DVD version for a lot of others reasons. I'm not spending $300 per room for a 4K player unless the TV is over 70", so the master and spare rooms have a BD player.

I buy many of my Blu-rays that also include DVD's in the packaging. When we travel I don't have a BD player, but many hotels or my laptop have a DVD player. I can plug the laptop into the TV with HDMI and watch the movie. I have a compact spare room Samsung BD player I could take sometimes, but I have my laptop all the time and the TV's in the rooms are usually under 50" (normally just 32"-42"). I also have portable DVD players for the car. And if a friend wants to borrow a movie they may not have a blu-ray player so they use the DVD.

I like the multi-formats, and at this price I'd buy more. They've only released 9 movies in this DVD case multi-format:

I bought BHC and Hunt for Red October. If I really want it to match my collection, I swap the discs to a blu-ray case and print the 4K cover you can find online. I'll buy more 4K under $10 if the release it, though I am particular about my 4K purchases. I do try to find all I can on Blu-ray.

You don't need a 70" or larger to appreciate 4K, and they make portable blu-ray players if you really feel the need to take discs on the go. We have one for the kids on very long car rides (like to Disney or the beach). Having a 4K blu-ray player for each 4K TV isn't a big deal. We have a Sony X700 for the living room, a Panasonic for the movie room, and an Xbox One S for the kid's play room. DVDs are completely useless if you have the blu-ray or 4K.

For collectors, these are terrible. I keep each format separate, so I don't want to have a DVD case mixed with the blu-ray cases. It would only fit on the shelf that I have spaced a little more because of the larger German media books and other oversized cases from Criterion and the like and box sets, but still, no DVD case is going in there.

I would recommend investing in a Blu Ray burner and setting up a Plex server for your situation. Not every movie will be available in multi format like this one so having a streaming (local or on the go) option seems like something you'd benefit from.
