FYI, the return policy according to a CSR over chat:
"Meta Quest 3 + TRIPP Bundle Return Policy
You have the right to return the Meta Quest 3 Product to us within 30 days of receiving the Meta Quest 3 headset ("Meta Quest Product"). Meta Quest Products must be fully returned in their original packaging and will incur a 10% restocking fee. If, upon return to us, it is determined that any Meta Quest Product has been used, damaged, is missing components, and, or is not in resalable condition, the return will not be accepted, and the purchaser will be responsible for the return shipping costs. If you return a Meta Quest Product bought as part of a bundle in accordance with the above, the discounted subscription issued to you as part of the bundle will not be part of the return or refund. The 128GB is still very much usable. They should absolutely make it 256GB baseline, but I expect they kept that down the road as a "future upgrade" to maintain current pricing while upgrading the space.
With that said, I have the 128GB version and have the following installed on it, with a couple gigs to spare:
Accounting+
ARK and ADE
Audica
Audio Trip
Beat Saber
BoneLab
BoneLab Mod: Boneworks
Cosmic Flow
Dead Second
Quest Games Optimizer
Death Horizon 2
Deo VR
Echo VR
First Encounters
First Hand
Killer Frequency
Les Mills Body Combat
Lies Beneath
Liminal
Max Mustard
Meta Horizon Worlds
OhShape
Operation Serpents
Pistol Whip
PowerBeats VR
Propagation Paradise Hotel
Sidequest
Ragnarock
Rez Infinite
Runner
Samba De Amigo
Sky Climb
Skybox VR
Smash Drums
Space Channel 5
Space Salvage Demo
Steam Link
Stilt
Stride Fates
Superhot VR
Supernatural Unreal Fitness
Sushi Ben
Swarm
Swarm 2
Synth Riders
Synth Riders Custom DLC
TrackCraft demo
Tetris Effect
Thumper
Tiger Blade
TRIPP
Underdogs
Unplugged: Air Guitar
Venta X
Virtual Desktop
Youtube VR
Zombieland
Not installed:
Asgards Wrath 2 (This is a big title!)
Crazy Kung Fu
With that said, the ones installed aren't the biggest titles, but everything but 2 titles fit on the 128GB model along with custom/side-loaded DLC. The upgrade to 512GB at $150 just seemed like a bit overkill. At $99? I'd do it without question
It's a substantial upgrade with the lenses and the external cameras alone, but 128GB for a console that launched in 2023 is ridiculous. It's like the Quest 2 launching with 64GB all over again, which is why I'm in no rush to be an early adopter and get burned when (hopefully) they get their shit together and make 256GB the baseline.

Same thoughts - is there such a difference between the two that makes it worthwhile?
It's a huge upgrade all around but the most significant thing to me is the improved optics. The pancake lenses are so much clearer than the fresnel ones in the Q2.

Either way, $100 off the quest 3 is great! Now I need to decide if I want to upgrade our Q2.
