This has lidar. Mine doesn't work 3 months into owning it, I have to send it to Texas where they will evaluate if it's covered by the warranty. If it's not, they will let me know how much to fix.
Just wondering if this is how other brands like eufy, roborock etc handle warranty claims.

I bought this same refurb unit back in March. We love it. It has especially helped keep our tile floors consistently clean. Does a pretty good job on carpet too. Still amazed how much dirt it picks up when mopping and we have it run everyday except weekends. Two young kids and three cats will do that though I suppose.

Got this a month back. With an old USB cable and a little bit of work, I was able to get Valetudo running and the vacuum integrated in home assistant. Works great.

Still amazed how much dirt it picks up when mopping and we have it run everyday except weekends. Two young kids and three cats will do that though I suppose.

Looked brand new basically. Only had one problem with mine. I noticed the mop pads didn't seem to sit flat. Then I noticed that the whole thing wasn't sitting level. I started looking at the wheel wells and noticed something was stuck way up in there. It was a dryer sheet. Pulled it out and it set level. Other than that, I couldn't really tell that it had been used at all.

This is lidar based? From the description it sounds like cameras only. In which case is a dealbreaker for me. No lidar means only works when there's light. I like to run my vaccum downstairs overnight and I can't do that without a lidar based system

It has Lidar for navigation and cameras for obstacle avoidance

Got this a month back. With an old USB cable and a little bit of work, I was able to get Valetudo running and the vacuum integrated in home assistant. Works great.

Best value, this by far. If you're concerned about long term reliability I would typically advise to go the Costco route with the Roborock deals there, but this is such a low price and this model specifically is not even the same market tier as the Q Revo. This would be more comparable to an S7 MaxV Ultra or other similar high end models. The included warranty makes it even better.
