If you are a home DIY warrior, this will do 90-95% of your task.

Put up a 150-foot dog ear privace fence and built a pool deck using this kit.

The only place you'll see the 18v pass these by is going to be battery runtime and driving larger lag bolts.

These are lighter. The 12v batteries (legit Milwaukee ones) are cheap as they damn near come in every kit, so there is an endless surplus of them on eBay. I have at least 4 still in the packs myself.

Can someone tell me if this is a legit kit worth buying? I have m18s but everyone loves their lightweight m12s

I have both m18 and those but I use them most of the time because of light weight and small size

Was going to get this from HD but this works out much better! Thanks OP, good deal and a great retailer in my previous experience.

Does anyone know if this m12 impact is narrower than the m18 impact? I have a project upcoming, and the m18 is like half inch too long to fit. I'm trying to avoid using a right angle adapter.

If you have a Chase Card, check your chase offers. You might have a 5% off on Ebay, up to $10, that can be used with this.

Is this a better deal than the Home Depot one? The Home Depot deal comes with an extra battery and a 3 in cut tool (which is $129).

I bought the M12 Fuel impact driver 4 years ago when installing several ceiling fans on 12 foot ceilings, my 18v Ryobi impact driver was just too heavy, arm got tired very quickly holding it overhead. The M12 is so much lighter and can pretty much do everything my 18v Ryobi Brushless impact driver can do, the M12 Fuel is my go to driver now.

I also have the M12 Fuel Hammer Drill, but to be honest, although smaller than my Ryobi 18v drill, it is about as heavy. It is a good drill, but surprised how heavy it was.

Unless you're a contractor for a living, the M12 is the set for you IMO. I'm completely invested. Nothing I've thrown at it has been a problem. It's a solid set of tools.
