These were about $3 cheaper middle of last September. I suspect price drops at the end of summer are common. Not bad though if you need them for this season. These are comfortable and the phone pocket is very convenient.

Yes. I had these and if you have a plus phone it's annoying. Also they're nice and cool for summer but they're kinda thin. I ripped em down the butt crack. Didn't last one summer

I understand the concern but I'm wearing the Anthracite right now from a sale last September. My S24 Ultra stayed in there just fine and, being a dad, I eventually had a phone and earbuds in my left front, car keys in right front, kids ear protection in right cargo, and boxes of sparklers in left cargo. Managed fine. They're "Dad" shorts for sure, but are really good at it for the price.

I have two pair and love them. But can confirm the front pockets are a little shallow. Not unusable, but wish they were just a little deeper.

beware, despite the 10" inseam, many reviewers complain all the pocket are too shallow.

There also were 2 different types of shorts. This one is thinner but also not cotton so not so breathable.

The other kind was thicker but better material so doesn't feel like plastic sticking to you. Also more/better pockets.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the whining about "small pockets". Just got these in today, and my large Google pixel plus phone fits just fine.

As far as the rip, perhaps you should buy shorts that fit you next time.

Yep, these arrived today and I'm perplexed by the people whining about "small pockets". Google pixel 8 plus fits just fine. Plus there's like six pockets.

Maybe the whiners should buy a purse instead.
