Damn. All these bad review comments and I actually have had good success with mine.

No rips at all. Yeah, they're not breathable, but they sure as hell keep water out. I've sat in downpours and stayed dry. Also, great for blocking cold wind and staying warm when paired with the right layers. These are perfect for watching the kid play sports.

The only bad thing I have to say for them is they are cut weird. Women's cut are too short in the torso and men's are way too big in the waist. Pants are tight in the butt and baggy elsewhere.

I use their rain pants as wind blockers for the out layer when ride motorcycles in 30 degree weather(not raining nor snowing) and they work well in a pinch.

I have 2 sets without tears or rips. These work fine for passive use. I think they were made for layering and Americans come in some odd sizes.
Much better than emergency rain suits.

Let me set the record straight. I bought four of these sets for $20 each for our Iceland trip and they worked great. $13 is the right price. The plastic is quite sturdy and won't rip. What tears is the area where the seam is sewn together in the buttock area. Mine tore there when I bent down even when the size I bought had plenty of room. Knowing this, I brought duct tape (rolled some onto a pen) and taped the inside area. My family probably won't wear the pants ever again, but the tops are fine and serve to repel rain. It does look cheap and my teen kids wouldn't be caught dead wearing them in the US. 🤣

I'll add my experience. I've had two of these (tops only) for a few years. One is in my work suitcase (I travel a lot). Whenever it rains hard, I use it when I have to be outside. I do treat it as gentle as I can and it hasn't ripped yet. Also, it's not breathable, that's just a lie. You WILL get hot and sweaty. But with all that said, it's come in super handy in heavy rainstorms when I had to be outside. If I lost mine or it were to get damaged, I would get another one. Oh, I also ride motorcycles and I have the other one in a saddle bag. Saved me from getting soaked on a few trips. So yeah, it has its uses, especially since it does fold down to nearly nothing and you're more likely to have this with you than a bigger solid raincoat.

Have this. The jacket is fine if youre not bushwacking or going through rough terrain. The pant is trash and will rip when you bend down.

similar result here but no real problem with the cut. My big problem is how damn warm they are even with how thin they are. I dont like wearing them in the summer here in Maine on hot rainy days. Then again I hate the heat,.
