I understand your new. Do your research first. This is the normal price everywhere.
Amazon always inflates their so called normal price. This is not a deal. One other thing. Put a little more detail into your posts.

I'm gonna say it... I miss the days of $1149 for the 5040ub refurbs... This 5050 is awesome but max should be $1999 at this point to be considered a deal. It's $2499 everywhere regularly. Best Buy has it for that now. $2,299 refurb'd from Epson as well.

I respectively disagree. It's not $2499 all the time. It is that price about once per quarter. Interestingly, last month someone posted the same deal and it got ~8+ thumbs up. A total of 8 thumbs down is kind of misleading in my book.

It's regularly $2,499. Currently that much direct from Epson. Even if it was that price qtrly I'm not sure that qualifies as "slick". I'm not a thumbs downer but I don't see this as being much of a deal. More like a notice that it's on sale again for the normal sale price. It's a great projector but slick to me would be $1999 or less. Refurbs from Epson are constantly around $2299 and come with the same warranty as new.
