Excellent game if you don't already have it. Plays like the old good Ace Combat Games.

Thanks for the heads up. I got it from Humble. Worth the extra $1.50 to me to get it from a site I know is legit.

I did this on PS4 with a HOTAS stick and it was glorious. Gotta love unlimited missiles!

Heck yeah, been wanting this game for a while now! Haven't played an Ace Combat in years and I just got myself a gaming laptop recently!
$4.48 and wasn't even charged taxes...feels like a steal to me!

This one was ok, but one of the weaker AC games. It did make a fair attempt to return to the PS2 era ones, but every single mission had a gimmick to it. You were basically playing a stunt pilot game less than an air combat one. It never set you loose to wreak havoc in the skies and really use your planes to their full potential. And you need a guide to find the aces because they only appear if you complete random actions like flying under a specific out of the way arch.

If you want a game that's just like the PS2 era Ace Combat games, Project Wingman is it. No forced stunt piloting, it's almost nonstop dogfighting. Lots of named pilots to go after too.

Editing to add... This isn't a negative review exactly, especially for $4.50. AC7 is decent, but just ok when it comes to the high bar that the previous Ace Combat games set.
