Yen has seen a drastic decrease vs US Dollar. Your dollars go much farther in Japan. My friend just took his family of 5 for 3 weeks.

Booking directly on their website, I also see April 1st getting the low fare. Really tempting... although I could stretch it a few more days to have maximum cherry blossom coverage...

If you don't live near lax, it's best to get in a day early, stay at a nearby airport hotel with free shuttle.
