This can only run up to macOS Monterey, which is currently two major versions behind, and soon to be three.

Hello, I was gifted an iPad Pro 13inch 512 GB M4 but I can't work on my Excel Spreadsheet on it (data validation). I'm going to try to request a return and get a MacBook instead. Any suggestions on which to get that is close to the iPad's price? I don't do anything heavy probably the spreadsheet I'm trying to make is the most advanced thing. Thanks in advance🌸

Wanted to add that I want something that will last, my 2009 MacBook Pro that I purchased just before finishing school died recently.

That is a really old laptop but at that price range probably better than a chromebook.

my personal recommedation is go with any Mac with M* chips. ipad Pro cost atleast 600+. so you can consider Air M1 around that price.. if you can add few extra, you can get M2 refurbished below $700 (microcenter or best buy) .

do not look any intel chips like this deal, as they wil be out of service/MacOS updates soon.
