Without doing any research, typically Costco has its own model number on a lot of same items.

TV is the same. The Costco version has a newer remote. Model number at Costco is usually slightly different to distinguish Warehouse from Reg. Retail.

5 year warranty and being from costco is appealing. I was waiting for the $1999 w/free mounting to come back to Best Buy. If this was $1999 from Costco w/5 year I'd buy now. With my luck it will be $1499 for Black Friday!

I've also been waiting for the $1999 to resurface but this $2299 has been the lowest since earlier this year.

You'd have to pay $500-$600 for a 5 yr warranty thru Best Buy on this model. My understanding is Best Buy's warranty runs concurrently with the manufacturer. Free mounting is desirable for some.

I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on this deal. Costco 4% cash back and the Google $100 credit brings it closer to the magical $2k threshold.

Best buy appears to have model number 100U76N while costco shows model number 100U70N. Is there any difference between them?

It kind of sucks nobody reviews these jumbo tv's. Maybe B the Installer, but his reviews are lightweight.

Yeah, idk. Rtings thinks this TV doesn't come in 100". No idea if it is the same U7 tv as the 65" they reviewed

It's not. This only has 256 dimming zones.

About 2 years ago i bought a Hisense 55" u8H and it's terrible. A blue blob started in the middle of the screen and eventually completely covered the screen. RTings testing dropped it after it failed in less than a year. I realize this is the N-model and Costco is selling, but I sure hope they fixed it for anyone interested. I have tried various YT suggestions and resets but still looking at blue everything. I will never buy another one. ymmv

Edit: I uploaded pics to Reddit and was downvoted into oblivion. So if price is more important than quality, this is your TV.

Hisense is one of the worst QC brands in the market

Not that I'd ever use the speakers on a TV, but this model also has good speakers and subwoofer.

Also, for those looking for reviews, this AVS thread [avsforum.com] has some good feedback and links to several youtube reviews.

Yup, as tempting as this "deal" is, their stuff is unreliable (had two of their TVs stop working after 2 years). Sure, I guess you're getting a good warranty in this deal, but who wants to deal with the headaches associated with having a TV down for God knows how long. Not worth the hassle.

Sure if you have another $1700 lying around. The picture quality is not that big of a difference
